MC FARLAND OFFICER ACCUSED OF EXCESSIVE FORCE IS FIRED
McFARLAND, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A McFarland police officer has been fired following accusations that he used a baton and unleashed a police dog on a suspect who wasn't resisting arrest.Officer Curtis Jue was placed on administrative leave for the alleged incident, which reportedly occurred during a warrant search in October. He was fired Nov. 15.McFarland police have declined comment, calling it a personnel matter.Eyewitness News recently investigated McFarland police for hiring officers who were fired from other departments and had been accused of crimes. Jue was not one of the officers investigated by Eyewitness News - 30 November 2011.
